At Dynafire, we are passionate about Fire Protection Engineering. As a result, we have built solid relationships with major role players in the construction, automotive, and manufacturing industries through excellent communication and technical delivery.
An array of different industries have a strong need for Fire Protection. Municipal and legislative requirements for the installation of automatic and manual Fire Protection and Detection Systems (and equipment) is well documented and affect all industries, regardless of size.
We are ideally situated to meet these industry needs best through the experience of our management team and workforce. Most of our activities are contracted in-house and we are not reliant on contracted labour. All fabrication and installations are carried out in-house with permanent staff and access is available to experienced specialised services should this be required. In addition, our materials are sourced at competitively discounted rates, enabling us to offer competitive industry prices.
We are multi-industry orientated and have proven experience in the automotive, food, and pharmaceutical industry; as well as sports stadiums, offices, car parks, and shopping centres. We also meet the requirements of municipal, insurance, and legislative requirements.

The Faces Behind The Work
Dante Cicognini
Director
Dante Cicognini is Italian and the owner of Dynaform (previously D. Cicognini Contractors) established in 2002 and based in Port Elizabeth. Dynaform specialise in warehouse construction and steel fabrication for the construction, civil and mining industries in South Africa. For over 10 years Dynaform has been one of the leading structural fabrication companies in South Africa. Another of Dante’s many successful companies is Cicognini Properties registered as an investment company in moveable and immoveable property, which has a vast portfolio.
Gregg Richardson
Operations Manager
Gregg Richardson is South African and has a wide employment in the construction industry. He matriculated from Alexander Road High School in 1992, He joined Eascape Fire in 2008 as contracts manager and left when the company closed down. Gregg has a National Diploma in construction.
Bob Derbyshire
Sales Manager
Bob Derbyshire is British and immigrated to South Africa in 1975. However, his career in fire protection commenced in 1969 while working in the United Kingdom at a company called Mather and Platt. Mather and Platt had a vast experience in fire protection. He has worked for several South African fire protection companies and has gained valuable experience on the way. He has achieved the U.K. matric equivalent and achieved second year national certificate status in both mechanical and electrical certificates, also received ASIB certificate of competency in November 1988.
